Dodges Ferry, Tasmania 2023. Renovation of an 1950’s beach house including an extention.

The existing weatherboard beach house was renovated to constitute the bedroom section and a new, modern extension was added with living, kitchen, laundry and bathroom. The original section of the house can be closed off from the new section by a 2.2m x 2.1m custom made solid Tasmanian oak barn door.

Custom made bathroom vanity from stained Oregon timber with a concrete sink and antique brass tapware. A sheltered spotted gum deck on the north side and custom made entrance door and outdoor shower on the south side.
